Future Smart: A Smart Grid for All at the Royal Society, London on Friday 8th September, from 8:00am to 4:00pm

UK Power Networks, the UK’s largest electricity distributor serving over 8 million homes and businesses, has launched the Future Smart vision to create an electricity network that empowers and enables communities and consumers to benefit from the new technologies available – and facilitate the development of those yet to come.

At Future Smart: A Smart Grid for All, we will consider the radical changes necessary to enable electricity networks to facilitate consumer’s choice and energy needs, and outline how people and new technologies will be at the heart of the new electricity system. The conference also will give you an opportunity to share your views and ideas, to network with industry colleagues and to help us develop our Distribution System Operator (DSO) strategy.
